UCRC gets New Executive Director

The University Center Bookstore recently had the privilege of catering for the Black Hills State University President, Dr. Kay Schallenkamp and other key staff members in their search for the next Executive Director. Gene Bilodeau was selected for the position, scheduled to begin working on Dec. 22.

“The goals will be to continue to expand programs and courses for the UC-RC to meet needs of place bound adult students in the Rapid City region and address workforce needs of the region,” said Judy Bauer, BHSU Executive Administrative Assistant.

The Craig Daily Press announced on November 7, “Craig City Councilor Gene Bilodeau accepts South Dakota job.” Mr. Bilodeau was the Vice President of the Colorado Community College Center.

The Colorado Community College Newswire quoted Mr. Russell George, President of CNCC, “This is an excellent step in Gene’s career and we wish him well. Gene has served CNCC since 1994 with distinction in a number of critical roles during his 17 years here. Gene was especially prominent throughout the successful planning, construction and operations of our fine new Craig Campus. He leaves a strong legacy and will always be seen as a treasured friend of CNCC.”
