The BHSU Women’s Basketball team has been on fire since their start of the season back in November. The Women’s Basketball team has won 10 out of their first 13 games this season and there are no signs of their success ending anytime soon.

Champions of the RMAC in 2021, the Women’s Basketball team look to capture another title starting the season off against Texas A&M International University winning 80-60. They would go on to drop a game against Texas A&M Kingsville losing 65-71. The losing would not stick around long as the women would pick themselves up and win 77-67 against the University of Mary and then 61-50 against Minot State University the next day.

After the back-to-back wins, the Women’s Basketball team would go on a five game winning streak, destroying rivals South Dakota Mines in the process 72-42. The win streak would come to an end at the hands of #12 Colorado School of Mines with the Yellow Jackets losing 47-75.

Despite three losses on the season, the BHSU Women’s Basketball team are a force in the RMAC and look to keep Yellow Jacket fans excited for the future.
