Allen Morris, Assistant Professor of Photography, grew up in the rural northeastern corner of Oregon, received an Associates Degree from Eastern Oregon University, a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Studio Art (Photography Emphasis) from Oregon State University, and a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Studio Art (Photography Emphasis) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Prior to moving to Spearfish, Allen was an Associate Lecturer of Photography at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. He is an active member of the Society for Photographic Education (SPE), the Postcard Collective, and also sits on the Board of Directors for the Lead-Deadwood Art Center.
